Located in Botetourt County, the hike will start at the trailhead of the Cornelius Creek Trail on the upper end of North Creek. We will follow Cornelius Creek Trail to where it intersects the AT. We will then follow the AT South to the junction of the blue blaze Trail to the Cornelius Creek Shelter. We will take the blue blaze trail past the shelter to the Glenwood Horse Trail where we will head north on the horse trail until it reaches the site of the former Camp Kewanzee. We will then follow an old gated forest service road to the BRPW to Sunset Field. We will take the Apple Orchard Falls Trail back to the starting point. This hike offers three stunning creeks, two waterfalls, scenic views from Black Rock Overlook and Sunset Field.
