This is a lozenge shaped lollypop hike. Only one steep section with many level stretches and moderate ups and downs. Most of hike is wooded with glimpses of the next ridgeline through the trees. There is an outstanding scenic view from the top of an unnamed hill on the trail. A “top ten” tree oddity is on this hike, there is a mature tree perched on a 15-foot high boulder.
