This hike is part ridge walk/bushwhack (4.7 miles) along the top of Broad Run Mountain and part abandoned forest service road (4 miles) plus a few other odds and ends making a 10.3-mile loop. Elevation challenges are moderate and no rock scrambling required but nearly half of this hike is off-trail so some minor brush may be encountered.
